Simpson Resigns As Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Marist Director of Athletics Tim Murray announced Monday that head men's lacrosse coach James Simpson has resigned his position, effective immediately. Simpson had guided the Red Foxes' men's lacrosse program for the last three years. more
Marist Men's Lacrosse Ends Season As Top Face-Off Squad In The Nation

The Marist men's lacrosse team ended the 2008 season as the country's best team in the face-off circle, leading all 56 Division I teams with a 62.8% win percentage. Senior midfield Dan Needle (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) finished the season as the second-best face-off man in the country with a 63.5% win percentage. Only Danny Brennan of the national champion Syracuse Orange had a higher percentage. more
