Sport Advising Assignments: Football, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, Men's and Women's Crew, Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis.

Dasha Cherkasov enters her first year at Marist in the 2012-13 school year and will serve as the Academic Advisement Fellow. She comes to Poughkeepsie after receiving her Masters of Science in Education Candidate in School Counseling from Fordham University in 2012. While at Fordham, Cherkasov interned at New Rochelle High School and Concordia College, working in a variety of counseling capacities

Cherkasov attended Boston College as an undergraduate student, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in General Education, in 2009. While at Chestnut Hill, she was a member of the Eagles' women's tennis team. She was a team captain her senior season while playing at the first and second singles' positions and at first doubles. She was a member of the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll in her final three seasons and also represented women's tennis on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Cherkasov currently resides in Hyde Park, N.Y.
