Named the seventh all-time head coach of the women's soccer program on Jan. 17, 2011, Lyn was part of the winningiest single-season in Marist Women's Soccer history as the Red Foxes went 13-6-2 and reached the NCAA Tournament in 2011. The 13 wins, MAAC Championship and NCAA bid were all firsts in Marist's program history.

Under her leadership, six Red Foxes earned conference postseason accolades: Amanda Epstein was the MAAC Rookie of the Year, Jessica Arabia & Rycke Guiney - All-MAAC First Team and Chelsea Botta, Katie Hannis & Marissa Mertens - All-MAAC Second Team. Lyn was also honored as MAAC Coach of the Year.

The Red Foxes finished top two in the MAAC in goals (1.7), assists (1.8) and points (5.2) per game, as well as goals against average (1.05).

In the classroom, four student-athletes were honored with CoSIDA/Capital One First Team Academic All-District nods (Katie Hannis, Chelsea Botta, Caitlin Landsman & Jackie Frey). In addition, eight other Red Foxes were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team. 

Lyn joined the Red Foxes after serving as the top assistant coach and director of goalkeeping at Columbia University since 2007.

In her four seasons on the Columbia staff, the Lions accumulated an overall record of 36-21-12. Lyn's goalkeepers amassed 25 clean sheets and posted 11 wins during the 2008 season. The 11 victories is tied for the second highest total in program history as the Lions notched 12 triumphs in each of the 1996 and 1998 seasons.

Administratively she communicated with all prospective student-athletes, including international recruits. Lyn served as the program liaison between the team and all community service representatives and assisted in the development and monitored all pre-, in- and off-season fitness and strength training. Additionally, Lyn facilitated all travel needs for away matches.

In addition to her experience at Columbia, Lyn worked as a head coach and player evaluator with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region I. She has also worked with the Long Island Rough Riders W-League Women's Team and with the Montclair Aristocats.

Lyn has also served as an assistant coach for FC Westchester Soccer Club and a head coach for the Super Y-League ODP Program. She was also an assistant coach and head goalkeeper trainer for the U18 girls team during the 2004 Empire State Games held in Poughkeepsie.

Her camp experience includes stints at the New York City Soccer Academy, the William and Mary Soccer Camp and a summer at the United States Naval Academy Soccer Camp in 2003.

Lyn is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and earned her United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National 'A' Coaching License.

She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Education from Columbia University in 2005. Lyn completed the Barnard Education Program at Columbia. She is completing her Master of Arts: Department of Biobehavioral Sciences, Specialization in Physical Education at Columbia.
