POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist Athletics Department will host four MAAC Championship Tournaments for the 2012-13 season, as it was announced by the conference on Tuesday. The Red Foxes will host the Women's Soccer Championships on the first weekend of November, the Women's Lacrosse and Water Polo Championships on the final weekend of April and the Softball Championships on the second weekend of May.

The women's soccer team will look to defend its 2011 MAAC championship on their home turf at Tenney Stadium. The two semifinal matches will take place on Friday, Nov. 2 with the championship being played on Sunday, Nov. 4. The Red Foxes won their first title last season, defeating Loyola (Md.) 1-0 to advance to their first NCAA Tournament.

In the spring, the Marist women's lacrosse team will play host to the 2013 MAAC Championship on April 26-28 at Tenney Stadium. The two semifinals will be played on the evening of Friday, April 26 and the two winners will advance to the championship game to take place on Sunday, April 28. Last season, Marist earned the third seed in the tournament, which was held at Canisius, before falling to the second-seeded Golden Griffins in the semifinals. The last time the Red Foxes hosted the MAAC Tournament was in 2010 when they won the title, advancing to their first NCAA Tournament.

That same weekend, the water polo team will host its 10th straight MAAC Championships at the McCann Natatorium. The two semifinal games will be played on the afternoon of Saturday, April 27 with the consolation and championship games being held the following afternoon on Sunday, April 28. The Red Foxes earned the second seed in last year's tournament, but fell to Wagner, the third seed, in the semifinals. Marist has won four of the past seven championships, winning in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010.  

The softball team will host their third straight MAAC Tournament and fourth in the past five years on the weekend of May 9-11. The double elimination tournament will begin on Thursday afternoon with first two games. The winners' and losers' bracket games will continue on Saturday and the champion will be crowned on Sunday. The Red Foxes' only previous MAAC Championship came in 2006 when they defeated Fairfield 1-0, advancing to the NCAA Tournament
