LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Marist women's lacrosse team (4-2, 0-0 MAAC) earned its fourth win of the season with a commanding 10-5 victory over Bucknell (0-6, 0-1 Patriot). Senior Jamie Romano (Kings Park , N.Y.) led the Red Foxes with five goals. Junior Kirsten Viscount (Smithtown, N.Y.) and sophomore Allison Gionta (Eastport, N.Y.) contributed two goals each and junior Jackie DiMaria (Dix Hills, N.Y.) added one. 

Marist scored the first eight goals of the game to take an 8-0 lead with 18:27 remaining in the game. The 8-0 run included three by Romano, two by Gionta and Viscount, and one by DiMaria. Bucknell scored three straight goals over the following minutes to cut the Red Fox lead to five at the 10:38 mark. Each team scored two more goals to end the game, including two final goals by Romano, but it wouldn't be enough for the Bison as Marist came out on top, 10-5.

The Red Foxes return to action on Monday, Mar. 17 at 1 p.m. in Fairfax, Va.
