In the Record Book: In her career, ranks seventh in goals (99), tied for ninth in assists (42), eighth in points (141), fourth in draw controls (114) and third in caused turnovers (58)... Ranks eighth in single-season draw controls (44; 2015).
2016: All-MAAC First Team, MAAC All Academic Team, MAAC Defensive Player of the Week (4/18)... Became one of just three players in program history to reach 100 points and 100 draw controls in her career... Played in 16 games, scoring in all but three of them... Netted three or more goals on six occassions... Set a career high with six goals on 10 shots and won four draw controls in the season opener vs. Sacred Heart on Feb. 15... Scored six goals, including the game-winner in the final minute, and got her 100th career point vs. Vermont on Feb. 28. Also scooped up two ground balls and caused two turnovers... Won her 100th career draw control at Oregon on March 19... Tied season highs with six goals, seven points, four ground balls, five draw controls and three caused turnovers in the MAAC opener vs. Iona on March 26. Went 2-for-2 on free position attempts in the contest... Put up four goals and three caused turnovers at Quinnipiac on April 16... In the regular season finale at Siena on April 27, racked up four points, picked up four ground balls, won two draw controls and caused three turnovers.
2015: All-MAAC First Team, MAAC All-Academic Team... Led Marist by winning 44 draw controls, the seventh highest single season total in program history... Finished second on the team with 24 ground balls... Had four hat tricks... Racked up a season high four points in consecutive games (two goals and two assists at Iona on March 25; three goals and one assist vs. Quinnipiac on March 28)... Scored the game-winning goal and won a season-high six draw controls in the MAAC opener at Iona on March 25... Got the game-winner in the first overtime period and won five draw controls in Marist's 11-10 victory at Siena in the quarterfinals of the MAAC Championships on April 25.
2014: All-MAAC Second Team... Appeared in and started all 18 games for Marist... Finished the year fourth on the team with 24 goals and third on the team with 16 assists... Finished fourth on the team with 40 points... Had a season-high four goals on four occasions and had a season-high four assists April 16 against Manhattan... Scored the game-winning goal April 2 against Canisius... Attempted 58 shots with 43 on goal... Finished the season second on the team with 33 ground balls, including a season-high five March 21 against Stetson... Led the Red Foxes with 17 caused turnovers, including a season-high three March 12 against Bucknell and March 21 against Stetson... Won 37 draw controls, finishing second on the team... Won a season-high seven April 16 against Manhattan.
2013: Appeared in 15 games, starting one… Recorded three goals and three assists… Scored goals on Feb. 19 vs. Colgate, Feb. 23 vs. Vermont and April 17 vs. Iona… Recorded assists on Feb. 19 vs. Colgate, March 30 vs. Niagara and April 17 vs. Iona… Had 14 shots and eight of them were on goal.
Prior to Marist: An accomplished athlete during her time at Daniel Hand High School, McHugh was named First Team All-State, First Team All-SCC and First Team All-Area as a junior and senior. She was also named to the Super Junior Team in 2011. Outside of lacrosse, she earned honors on the All-SCC women's soccer team and was named her team's MVP as a senior. A four-year letter-winner in basketball, McHugh served as captain of all three of her respective teams during her senior season.
