Named to the staff prior to the 2011 season, Lyn was part of the winningiest single-season in Marist Women's Soccer history as the Red Foxes went 13-6-2 and reached the NCAA Tournament in his first campaign. The 13 wins, MAAC Championship and NCAA bid were all firsts in Marist's program history.

With his guidance, six Red Foxes earned postseason accolades: Amanda Epstein was the MAAC Rookie of the Year, Jessica Arabia & Rycke Guiney - All-MAAC First Team, Chelsea Botta, Katie Hannis & Marissa Mertens - All-MAAC Second Team. Lyn, also played an integral in first-year Head Coach Kate Lyn being honored as MAAC Coach of the Year.

A leader in the local soccer community, Lyn's hardwork and connections resulted in outstanding crowds and support, as Marist led the MAAC in home attendance with 788 fans per game.

Previously a member of the United States Youth National Team Program, Christopher Lyn brings a wealth of knowledge to the soccer community. Lyn worked four seasons at Columbia University as an assistant coach starting in 2007. Previously, Lyn was the head coach at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY for three seasons. Lyn was named the 2006 East Coast Conference (ECC) Coach of the Year after leading Molloy to a 14-7 overall record and a 7-3 mark in the ECC.

From 2001 to 2005, Lyn was the Director of Coaching for FC Westchester Premier Club located in Purchase, N.Y. During that time he managed 4 high school aged teams that all competed at the national level under his reign. Almost all players went on to play Division I Soccer at top universities such as University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Old Dominion University, and University of North Carolina - Wilmington. Prior to working with the elite youth program, Lyn worked as an assistant coach for the Iona College Women's Soccer Program.

A graduate from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Lyn was named an All-American, and continued his playing career professionally on the USISL Raleigh Flyers and then following the Greensboro Dynamo. Lyn holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma as well as a USSF National 'B' Coaching License.
