POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Marist baseball team has a bye from Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) competition this weekend, and will take on Lafayette of the Patriot League in a unique three-game series.
The Leopards and Red Foxes will play a doubleheader in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, with game one slated for a 1 p.m. start time. The first game will be nine innings, followed by a seven-inning second game. The teams will play the final game of the series on Sunday in Lafayette, Pa., a nine-inning contest at 1 p.m.
The Red Fox Club will have its annual hot dog sale at Saturday's doubleheader.
