POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - (UPDATE, Tuesday, 10:50 a.m.) The Marist baseball team's non-conference game on Wednesday at McCann Baseball Field has been canceled.

The teams were originally supposed to play Tuesday at Albany, but then the contest was moved to Marist for a 2 p.m. Wednesday start. Following Monday night's snowstorm in the Hudson Valley in which snow blanketed McCann Baseball Field, the contest was called off.

Marist will return to action by opening up Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play with a three-game weekend series against Niagara at McCann Baseball Field. The Red Foxes (6-8) and Purple Eagles (4-16) will play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon, followed by a single game on Sunday at noon.
