SCOUTING THE RAMS: Fordham comes into Saturday's matchup after losing a 5-1 opening round game to Arkansas on Friday. The Rams held an early 1-0 lead courtesy of Elise Fortier's record-setting 20th home run of the season in the first inning; her long ball broke the Atlantic 10's previous mark of 19. Reliver Patti Maloney threw 5.2 innings and allowed three runs on nine hits after Fordham's starter Jamie LaBovick retired just one Razorback batter.

The 2013 Atlantic 10 Champions are led offensively by the strong hitting trio of Jamie LaBovick (.410/6 HR/27 RBI), Elise Fortier (.374/20 HR/54 RBI) and Gabby Luety (.347/12 HR/49 RBI). As a team, the Rams have hit .308 with 77 doubles and 68 home runs in 57 games.

In the circle, LaBovick has posted the best ERA at 2.73 in 120.2 innings pitched. Michelle Daubman another talented two-way player for the Rams has thrown the most with 167.1 innings pitched; she has registed a 3.51 ERA and 108 strikeouts in 37 appearances. As a staff, four Fordham pitchers have combined for a 3.30 ERA and a .283 opponents' batting average.

OF NOTE: This is the first matchup between the Red Foxes and Rams since April of 2008. The teams split a doubleheader in the Bronx on April 23 with Fordham winning Game One 9-6 and Marist taking Game Two 2-1.
