POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist teammates Aly Klemmer (Hamilton, N.J.) and Ashley Corriss (Sayville, N.Y.) were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Tournament Softball Team on Saturday at the conclusion of the 2012 Championship. The Red Foxes finished their tournament run on Friday and completed their season with a 28-27 record.

Klemmer led the Red Foxes with a .500 (2-4) batting average and a .667 on-base percentage (4-6). In both games, on Thursday versus Iona and on Friday versus Canisius, the sophomore outfielder had a hit and a walk. 

Corriss had strong tournament as well, as she batted .333 (2-6) and had a .500 (4-8) on-base percentage. The senior centerfielder was Marist's leading offensive threat versus Iona on Thursday as she reached base in three of her four at bats.
