PRINCETON, N.J. - The Marist women's track and field team competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Saturday at Princeton University. Five Red Foxes set personal bests at the event.

All four Marist runners who competed in the 1,500-meter run set personal bests. Freshman Michelle Gaye (Greenlawn, N.Y.) led the Red Foxes' contingent with a time of 4:45.10, good for a 19^th-place finish. Freshman Christine Coughlin (Latham, N.Y.) was 23^rd in 4:46.93, junior Erin O'Reilly (East Patchogue, N.Y.) took 41^st in 4:54.28 and senior Kara Lightowler (Orange, Conn.) took 45^th in 4:57.58.

In the 3,000-meter run, freshman Erin Thompson (Washington Township, N.J.) had a personal best of 10:29.10 to finish 16^th. Junior Katie Messina (Queensbury, N.Y.) took 23^rd in the same race in 10:51.20. Senior Briana Crowe (Bayville, N.J.) finished 31^st in the 800 meters in 2:17.52.
