BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Marist freshman Kimberly Tobias (San Jose, Calif.) rounded out a weekend of NCAA Zone A Diving Championship competition with a 10th place effort in the platform finals.
Diving at the University of Buffalo's Alumni Arena Natatorium on Sunday. The freshman completed her series of five preliminary dives with 166.55 points and her final combined 10 dive total at 334.95. She finished 10th overall amongst her female competitors.
The sole female MAAC competitor in the event, Tobias scored best from the 7.5-meter platform where she twice earned 39.90 scores for her Inward 1 1/2 Somersault Pike (403B) dives.
Her hardest dive, with a 2.40 degree of difficulty, the Forward 2 1/2 Somersault Pike (105B) earned her a 39.60 score in her preliminary round.
