POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist men's lacrosse senior Zach Badalucco (Brewster, N.Y.) and Kevin Defranco (Shoreham, N.Y.) were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Tournament Team. The team was announced following the MAAC Championship game on Sunday afternoon when Canisius defeated Siena 10-9 for the title.
Badalucco, who was named to the All-MAAC First Team on Thursday, led the Red Foxes with a team-high seven ground balls in the semifinals versus Siena on Friday night. He also caused two turnovers, the second-highest on the team, and was the team-leader at the face-off dot, winning five draws.
Defranco, playing with the inspiration of wearing #34 to honor former teammate Eddie Coombs, led the Red Foxes with four caused turnovers on Friday. He also scooped up four ground balls, second only to Badalucco on the team.
Marist finished their season at 6-8 overall and 3-3 in the MAAC under first-year head coach Keegan Wilkinson, advancing to their third consecutive MAAC Tournament.
