WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Four Men's and Women's Crew boats received All-MAAC Rowing honors on Friday, as well as 18 individuals receiving All-Academic Honors.  Men's coach Sean Clarke was also named the MAAC Men's Coach of the Year. This is the first year the MAAC has given out rowing awards, voted on by the conference's head coaches.

The Men's Crew team won the Men's Varsity Fours and Men's Varsity Eights Rowing Awards.  The Men's Varsity Fours boat consists of coxswain Emma Flynn, and rowers Bill Hawxhurst, Ben Smith, Tyler Sawyer, and John Boss.  The Men's Varsity Eights boat is led by coxswain Chris Leonard, with rowers Reed Harrison, Andrew Sayles, Seaton Drebitkpo, Max Kenney, Chris Behnke, Matt Michand, Doug Woolley, and Sam Garrison.

On the Women's Crew side, Marist won the All-MAAC Rowing Awards for Women's Varsity Eights and Women's Second Varsity Eights.  The Women's Varsity Eights boat consists of coxswain Zoe Christopher, and rowers Angie Carafas, Flavia Sielovan, Maggie Kolb, Sarah Wagner, Meg Ladouceur, Tory Mather, Kelsey Butta, and Jennifer Delisle.  The Women's Second Varsity Eights boat is led by coxswain Shannan Conway, and rowers Kristin Wilson, Steph Moriarty, Megan Romer, Stacy LaRose, Tayler Mullaney, Samantha Blau, Amanda Khoury, and Liz Hehir.

The men's squad received four MAAC All-Academic awards. John Boss, Harrison Drouin-Reed, Sam Garrison, and Benjamin Smith were all recognized. 

The women's program had 14 members recognized for their achievements in the classroom. Melanie Banks, Kelsey Butta, Angela Carafas, Jenn DeLisle, Theresa Fillipini, Jennifer Guzzardi, Maggie Kolb, Tory Mather, Tayler Mullaney, Kimberly Orzech, Breeanne Rodriguez, Ayla Rosen, Flavia Siclovan, and Marissa Soprano were all selected to the All-Academic Team.

The Marist crew teams will compete on Saturday for the MAAC Championships.
