EDISON, New Jersey – The Marist women's rowing team has swept the final Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference weekly rowing awards, earning recognition for the varsity eight and the second varsity eight boats after the team's performance at last week's Ithaca Invitational.

The women's first varsity eight competed against boats from Ithaca and Colgate. The Red Foxes defeated Colgate in the morning's first heat by a 6:43.1 to 6:44.4 margin to move on to the next heat later on in the day where they then fell to Ithaca.

The women's second varsity eight also competed against Colgate and Ithaca. The second eight defeated Colgate by a margin of 6:54.6 to 7:02.0 in the morning event but then also fell to Ithaca later on in the day.
