Several Red Foxes Earn Personal Bests at Vassar

POUGHKEEPSIE – Six members of the Marist men’s track & field team earned personal bests at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet on Friday at Vassar College.

Senior Connor Dodge (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) set earned a third-place finish in the 400 with a time of 52.32.

Five more Red Foxes had personal bests in the 5K – freshman Nick Salamone (Ridgewood, N.J.), freshman Stefan Morton (Emerson, N.J.), sophomore Omar Perez (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), senior Doug Ainscow (Derry, N.H.) and freshman Eddie White (Warminster, Pa.). Participating in his final collegiate race, Ainscow’s time of 16:04.68 was a personal best by 20 seconds.

Marist will be back in action on the MAAC Championships, which will take place Saturday-Sunday.
