POUGHKEEPSIE -- The Marist men's basketball team (11-18 overall, 8-11 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) will close out its regular season on Sunday, when the Red Foxes host Quinnipiac (19-9, 14-5). Tip-off at McCann Arena is set for 2 p.m.

Prior to the game, Marist will honor the six members of its senior class - managers Ryan Harkins and Mickey Dennis along with players Patrick Ramsey, Pieter Prinsloo, Jay Bowie and Adam Kemp.

Marist is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The Red Foxes suffered a 78-74 loss at Fairfield in their last outing on Friday. Kemp led the Red Foxes with 20 points, 19 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Marist will either be the sixth, seventh or eighth seed in next week's MAAC Championships. The Red Foxes need to win plus have Rider lose at Iona to get the sixth seed. A Marist win plus a Rider win will give the Red Foxes the seventh seed. If Marist falls to Quinnipiac, the Red Foxes are guaranteed the eighth seed unless Saint Peter's loses to Niagara and Canisius defeats Manhattan. If that happens, there will be a coin flip between Marist and Saint Peter's to determine the seventh and eighth seeds. The Red Foxes' opening round game will be on Thursday, March 6.

Quinnipiac suffered a 72-70 home loss to Siena in its last outing on Thursday. The Bobcats will be the number two seed in the next MAAC Tournament with a win at Marist, and will be the number three seed with a loss.

Ed Weir (play-by-play) and Steve Eggink (color) will have the call on the Red Fox Network, WKIP 1450 AM and iHeartRadio beginning at 1:45. For in-game updates, follow the official Twitter account of Marist Athletics, @MaristAthletics.
