NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Marist College men's track team sent a partial squad to the Rider Lafayette Winter Games, held Friday afternoon at the Armory Track and Center, in preparation for next week's MAAC Championships. The 3,200-meter relay team had the top finish of the day, finishing second in 7:55.80. The team consisted of freshman Nate Lungarini, freshman Kyle Heubner, sophomore Mark Vuono and junior captain David Marthy. The team missed an IC4A qualifying mark by less than three seconds.

In the 3,000-meter run, senior Billy Hild ran a personal-best time and broke the 9:00 barrier for the first time by finishing in 8:58.74. Freshman Nick Salamone was ninth overall in the mile run in a personal-best time of 4:29.65, winning his section of the race.

The Red Foxes return to the Armory next week for the MAAC Indoor Championships.
