POUGHKEEPSIE - The Marist men's basketball team (8-14 overall, 5-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) will travel to Rider (12-9, 8-4) for a Thursday night contest that will be carried by ESPN3. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30.

Marist enters the game having won two straight, with its most recent victory coming on Saturday against Niagara by a score of 78-64. Senior forward Jay Bowie poured in a career-high 31 points and had eight rebounds. Junior swingman Chavaughn Lewis scored 14 points, tied his career high with eight assists, hauled in four rebounds and had two steals.

Rider enters the contest having won three straight. Senior guard Anthony Myles in sixth in the MAAC in scoring (17.4 points per game), and senior forward Daniel Stewart is 11th in both points (15.6) and rebounds (6.2) per game.

This is the second meeting between the teams this season. Rider prevailed 66-56 in Poughkeepsie on Jan. 18, although the Red Foxes forced a season-high 24 turnovers in the game. That night marked Marist's lone loss in its last eight games at McCann Arena.

Dean Darling (play-by-play) and Ed Weir (color) will have the call on the Red Fox Network, 1450 AM WKIP and iHeartRadio beginning at 8:15. On the ESPN3 broadcast, Ed Cohen (play-by-play) and Rob Kennedy (color) will describe all the action.

Following Thursday's game, Marist will return to action on Monday with a road contest at Quinnipiac. The first meeting in program history between the Red Foxes and Bobcats is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m.
