POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist Men’s Crew team has announced its upcoming spring schedule, as the Red Foxes prepare to kick off their season consisting of six races.

Getting back into their regular season schedule since the fall, Marist is set to take on Holy Cross on Saturday, March 29.

Head Coach Matt Lavin is ready to start his second season as head coach, looking forward to this season’s competition. “I am very excited for our spring season, he said. “We face high caliber crews from start to finish. This will test us continually and prepare us for the championship portion of our season.”

The Red Foxes will move on to compete in the Knecht Cup on Sunday, April 13, before coming home to host the President’s Cup on Saturday, April 19.

Marist will then look to gain its 13th MAAC Championship, the third under the realm of Lavin, on Saturday, April 26 in West Windsor, N.J.

To close out the season, the crew team will compete at the New York State Championships before taking part in the ECAC Championships on May 11 to conclude the Red Foxes’ 2013-14 competition.
