POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Marist women’s basketball (7-4, 1-0 MAAC) team resumes Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play against Canisius (4-7, 0-2 MAAC) on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at McCann Arena. The Red Foxes are vying for their 10th MAAC Championship title, ninth consecutive, and 11th MAAC regular season title.

Fans who can’t attend the game can watch live on the Red Fox Network. Fans can also listen live with the voice of the women’s basketball team, Geoff Brault, on the Red Fox Network, WKIP 1450 AM, and iHeart Radio. The pregame show begins at 1:45 p.m. Giorgis will continue his dedication to helping fight hunger in the Hudson River Valley with a donation of a dime for each fan in attendance at home games throughout the season to hunger awareness. Kentucky head coach Matthew Mitchell and his wife will be matching Giorgis’ donation from the entire season.

The Red Foxes are coming off a historic 76-69 victory over #20/19 Oklahoma on Saturday, Dec. 21. This is the first win at home over a ranked opponent in program history and the second overall.
