POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Marist men's basketball team will be trying to win its third straight game on Sunday, when the Red Foxes host Penn of the Ivy League at McCann Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

Marist (2-9) is coming off an impressive 69-51 win over Bucknell on Friday. The Red Foxes scored the first 16 points of the game, and first eight of the second half. Junior swingman Chavaughn Lewis scored a game-high 19 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. Junior guard T.J. Curry scored 11 points and tied his career high with six rebounds. Senior center Adam Kemp notched 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Penn (2-6) will be playing its first game since Dec. 7. The Quakers are 2-0 against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foes this season, having defeated both Monmouth and Niagara. Penn is led in scoring by sophomore guard Tony Hicks, who is averaging 16.1 points per game.

The all-time series is tied at 1-1. The teams played a home-and-home in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, with each team winning in its own building.

Dean Darling (play-by-play) and Ed Weir (color) will have the call on WKIP 1450 AM, the Red Fox Network and iHeartRadio beginning at 1:45. A video stream will be available on the Red Fox Network for a subscription fee. For live game updates, follow the official Twitter account of Marist Athletics, @MaristAthletics.

Sunday's game is the last for Marist in the 2013 calendar year, and the last for the Red Foxes against a non-conference opponent in the regular season. Marist will open the 2014 portion of its schedule as it continues its homestand against MAAC rival Fairfield on Thursday, Jan. 2. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
