POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Red Foxes head to Springfield, Mass. on Sunday, Dec. 1 to play their final game of the Hall of Fame Challenge. Marist will face St. Bonaventure at the MassMutual Center, looking to improve to 3-4 overall for the 2013-14 season.

Geoff Brault, in his seventh season as the voice of the women’s basketball team, will be doing the play-by-play on Sunday. The game can be heard live on the Red Fox Network, iHeart Radio, and WKIP 1450 AM.

Marist finished last weekend in Columbus with a 2-1 record, defeating Bowling Green, 74-60, and Old Dominion in overtime, 87-82. Ohio State narrowly edged the Red Foxes, 62-59. Marist is now 2-4 overall.

St. Bonaventure is currently 6-2 overall this season, finishing last season 10-19 overall and 14th in the Atlantic 10 with a conference record of 3-11. The Bonnies were on a six game winning streak before falling to top seeded Connecticut last weekend. Marist and St. Bonaventure have faced each other seven times in program history. The Bonnies have a 4-3 edge over the Red Foxes, most recently knocking Marist out of the 2012 NCAA Tournament in the second round with a 66-63 victory.

Following this contest, Marist opens Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play on Friday, Dec. 6 at Quinnipiac. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Hamden, Conn. The Red Foxes are looking to earn their 10th MAAC Championship title under head coach Brian Giorgis this season. Marist finished last season undefeated in the MAAC.
