Marist Men's Basketball Set To Open Play At Paradise Jam

ST. THOMAS, VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Marist men's basketball team will open play the Ezybonds Paradise Jam on Friday, when the Red Foxes take on Maryland. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST. The game will be televised by CBS Sports Network, and will air on WKIP (1450 AM in Poughkeepsie), the Red Fox Network and iHeartRadio.

This is the first meeting between the schools in program history. Marist enters the game 0-4, having last played at Providence on Nov. 16. Maryland is 1-2, with its last contest being a 90-83 loss to Oregon State on Nov. 17.

This is the Red Foxes' first appearance in the Paradise Jam. However, Marist is no stranger to in-season tournaments, having appeared in at least one in seven of the last eight seasons. The Red Foxes will play three games in a stretch of four days, and here is the scheduling breakdown:

Friday, Nov. 22
Game 1 - Northern Iowa vs. Loyola Marymount, 2:30 p.m.
Game 2 - Marist vs. Maryland, 5 p.m.
Game 3 - Providence vs. Vanderbilt, 7:30 p.m.
Game 4 - Morgan State vs. La Salle, 10 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 23
Game 5 - Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 2:30 p.m.
Game 6 - Loser Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 5 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 24
Game 7 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 7 p.m.
Game 8 - Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 9:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 25
Game 9 - 7th/8th Place Game, 2:30 p.m.
Game 10 - 4th/6th Place Game, 5 p.m.
Game 11 - 3rd/5th Place Game, 7:30 p.m.
Game 12 - Championship Game, 10 p.m.

Sunday's winners' bracket games, as well as Monday's final two games, will be televised by CBS Sports Network. All other games will be available on ParadiseJam.com via YouTube Live and TGVN.tv.

All of Marist's tournament games will be broadcast on WKIP (1450 AM in Poughkeepsie), the Red Fox Network and iHeartRadio. Dean Darling (play-by-play) and Ed Weir (color) will have the call beginning 15 minutes prior to tip-off for all three games.
