Audra Brady Named MAAC Volleyball Player Of The Week
EDISON, N.J. – Senior setter Audra Brady (Allentown, Pa.) has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Volleyball Player of the Week for her performances this week against Fairfield, Rider, and Saint Peter’s in which Marist finished 2-1, dropping a close contest to the Stags, 3-2. The Red Foxes defeated Rider, 3-1, and Saint Peter’s, 3-0.
Brady posted very strong numbers for a setter, coming close to a triple-double twice; against Fairfield and Rider. She posted 8 kills, 52 assists, and 10 digs against the Stags. Against the Broncs, Brady had 9 kills, 46 assists, and 12 digs. She also had 33 assists against Saint Peter’s. Brady averages above 10 assists per set, with 10.92 this week.
The Red Foxes have two home matches this weekend; Saturday, Oct. 19 against Fairfield and Sunday, Oct. 20 against Quinnipiac. Both matches are set to begin at 1 p.m. at the McCann Arena. Admission is free and open to the public.
