POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - On Saturday, March 16, the Marist women's lacrosse team will host George Mason in a 12:00pm non-conference game. Coming off a loss against the #16 nationally ranked Stony Brook Seawolves, the Red Foxes (1-5) will face off with the Patriots (2-4).

This is the first time Marist and George Mason will be playing each other. Marist has played five prior games against Colonial Athletic Association competition including a February 27th meeting against Hofstra. Marist is 0-5 all-time against the CAA (0-4 Drexel, 0-1 Hofstra).

The Patriots come into Saturday's contest with a 2-4 record with wins against American (14-10) and Bucknell (12-8). Their last game was this past Wednesday, March 13 in which they played at the University of Albany and lost by a score of 17-5.
The Patriots are led by the duo of Rachel Obregon (14g-1a-15p) and Allie Hilderbrandt (11g-1a-12p). In goal, senior Brittany Pastrana has posted a 13.34 GAA and a .411 save percentage in 238:25 minutes of action.

The Marist women's lacrosse team faced #16 nationally ranked Stony Brook at home on Wednesday March 13. The Red Foxes lost by a score of 14-2 against the Sea Wolves. A 9-0 scoring margin in favor of the Seawolves would be the Red Foxes' undoing.
Senior goalie Ashley Casiano made a season-high with 13 saves while classmate Ashley Miller and sophomore Kirsten Viscount registered the goals for the Red Foxes.
