March 1, 2013, Red Foxes at Saints ...
Marist earned a hard-fought win on the road versus MAAC rival Siena by a score of 76-74. In a game with 11 ties and six lead changes, a well-rounded team effort on both sides of the ball allowed the Red Foxes to come back and defeat the Saints.
Though the night was billed as Siena's O.D. Anosike's final home game, it was his counterpart in the low-post, Adam Kemp, who finished with the top accolades. The junior registered game-high totals of 24 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks. This was Kemp's third 20+ point and 10+ rebound effort of the past 7 games.
Devin Price notched 18 points off the bench with a 5-8 showing from the field and 4-6 shooting from three-point range. Chavaughn Lewis and Jay Bowie rounded out the squad's leading scorers with 17 and 10 points, respectively.
Down seven at 19-12, the Red Foxes quickly came back with back-to-back three-pointers by Price from the wing at 9:34 and 8:40. The senior would notch his third consecutive successful trey less than two minutes later at 6:42 to tie the game at 23-23.
After trailing 47-45 at 13:37, Marist would go on a 7-0 run that would put the Red Foxes in the driver seat for the remainder of the game. The whole array of Marist's offense was on display during that short run as Price knocked down a three-pointer, Kemp took an alley-oop from Price for a thunderous dunk and Lewis used his speed and agility to slash to the hoop for a layup.
