EDISON, N.J. - The Marist women's basketball team swept the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) weekly awards on Monday as junior Casey Dulin (Milford, Conn.) was named the MAAC Player of the week and freshman Sydney Coffey (New Hope, Minn.) was selected as the MAAC Rookie of the Week.

Dulin had a career weekend, averaging 22.5 points per game and shooting 62.5% from the floor and 60% from three-point range in Marist's two convincing wins over Rider and Loyola. The junior guard also added six assists, two blocks and two steals. On Friday's 69-44 win versus Rider, Dulin tied her career-high with 25 points while making a personal best nine field goals. Her three three-pointers tied for most in her career while she also went 4-5 from the free throw line and grabbed four rebounds while adding three assists and a block. Dulin followed up one offensive explosion with another, dropping 20 points in a 79-55 win at Loyola on Sunday. She was 6-10 from the field and hit three three-pointers for the third consecutive game. She went 5-7 from the free throw line and again had three assists and a block while also making two steals on the defensive end.

Coffey continues to cement herself as one of the best rookies in the MAAC, averaging nine points and 4.5 rebounds while making her fourth career start in Marist's two dominating wins this past weekend. After grabbing five rebounds in a limited role off of the bench on Friday versus Rider, Coffey joined the starting lineup on Sunday at Loyola and did not disappoint. The freshman guard scored 16 points and got another four rebounds in the Red Foxes 79-55 road victory. After Loyola pulled to within single digits in the second half, Coffey started the deciding run with one of her career-high three three-pointers. She also went 5-6 from the free throw line and added an assist and a steal while tying a personal best with two blocks.

It is the first and third career weekly awards for Dulin and Coffey and the Red Foxes have now received six honors this season. Aside from Coffey's three selections as Rookie of the Week, junior Leanne Ockenden (Syracuse, N.Y.) was named the Player of the Week back on Dec. 24 and junior Emma O'Connor (Lynbrook, N.Y.) was the Co-Player of the Week on Jan. 28.

Marist returns to McCann Arena for its final home game of the season against Saint Peter's. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the Red Foxes will celebrate this year's seniors in a pregame ceremony.
