The Marist men's basketball team will head out on the road Thursday as they seek a regular season sweep of Saint Peter's at the Yanitelli Center in a 7 p.m. matchup. Just 12 days ago on Jan. 19, the Red Foxes (5-16, 2-8 MAAC) defeated the Peacocks (6-14, 1-9 MAAC) by a score of 59-48 at the McCann Arena.

Marist defeated Saint Peter's 59-48 in a game at McCann Arena. The Red Foxes never trailed in the contest.
Adam Kemp set a career-high with 18 rebounds to go along with eight points and two blocks. Chavaughn Lewis scored a game-high 19 points to go along with nine rebounds, five steals and four assists. Lewis tied a career high in steals. Isaiah Morton had 10 points, a career-high seven rebounds and three assists.
Marist put on a strong defensive performance. The Peacocks were held to .259 shooting (14-for-54) for the game, and just .111 (2-for-18) from three-point range.
Marist also held a 43-30 rebounding edge.
The Red Foxes jumped out to a quick 9-2 lead by the 15:17 mark.
At the half, Marist took a 27-17 advantage into the locker room.
In the second half, Saint Peter's quickly brought the game within single digits at 27-20, but over the next 7:28, Marist would hold the Peacocks to just six points. With the defense clicking, the Red Foxes calmly notched 14 points in response to Saint Peter's 6 to turn a seven-point game into a 15-point game at 41-26.
Following a 9-1 run by Saint Peter's, Marist came back with a 12-4 run to return to the game to a double-digit margin.

In a hard fought game, Marist was defeated by Siena 79-75.
Hot shooting by the visitors and a long scoring streak during the latter portion of the first half led to the eventual win.
Marist was led by four double digit scorers as Chavaughn Lewis netted a game-high 23 points, as well as eight rebounds.
Devin Price in his first game back from an ankle injury registered 18 points on the strength of four three-pointers.
Isaiah Morton and Adam Kemp rounded out the leading scorers for Marist with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Kemp augmented his scoring with 13 rebounds and four blocks.
The action started out fast and in favor of the host Red Foxes as they jumped out to a 14-4 lead over the first 5:21 of play.
Unfortunately, for the Red Foxes, in a 4:58 span of play from 11:40 to 6:42, the Saints would turn a 13-point deficit into a 2-point margin of 27-25 via a 15-4 run.
Siena would extend its streak further down the stretch in the first to a tune of 31-10. That gave the Saints a 41-33 lead at the break.
In the second half, Siena built up their largest lead of the game of 15 at 66-51 at the 12:55 mark.
Marist fought back with a 13-1 run to make it 67-64 at 8:27.
Siena would fire back with a quick 6-0 response.
Down nine, Marist had one final rebuttal for the Saints, an 11-5 run from 7:00 to 00:40.
Scouting the Peacocks ...
Saint Peter's comes into Thursday's game mired in an eight-game losing streak. After finishing the 2012 portion of their schedule at .500 (6-6), the Peacocks have gone winless in MAAC action since Jan. 4. Most recently they lost at home to Fairfield by a score of 61-54.
A pair of players average double-figure point totals for Saint Peter's, Desi Washington (13.7 ppg) and Yvon Raymond (10.8). Washington is the lone Peacock to have hit more than 12 total three-pointers on the season as the sophomore transfer has hit 48 treys. Senior guard Blaise Ffrench is second in the MAAC with 5.1 assists per game.
