Maristís Hagemann, Mainiero To Appear In FCS Senior Scout Bowl

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Senior captains Mike Hagemann (Vernon, N.J.) and Nick Mainiero (Croton, N.Y.) of the Marist football team will play in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Senior Scout Bowl, which will take place Saturday at 5 p.m. in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Hagemann and Mainiero were both named Second Team All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) on Tuesday. They will suit up for the North team.

Hagemann led the Red Foxes with 88 tackles, which ranked him tied for 10th in the PFL, and was second with three-and-a-half sacks. He had three games with at least 10 tackles, including a career-high 15 stops against Dayton on Nov. 10.

Mainiero tied for the team lead with two fumble recoveries, was second with eight-and-a-half tackles for losses, and third with 64 total tackles this season. He was also named Honorable Mention All-PFL in 2011.
