POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Senior defensive end Terrence Fede (Nyack, N.Y.) of the Marist football team has earned a College Football Performance Award for his efforts in Marist's contest at Columbia on Saturday.

Fede registered two-and-a-half sacks, eight tackles (including four solo stops) and one pass break-up in the Red Foxes' 10-9 defeat. Two of his sacks and his pass break-up occurred on third down, and ended Columbia drives. Fede helped Marist hold Columbia to just 255 yards of total offense.

On the season, Fede leads the Red Foxes in solo tackles (11), tackles for losses (four-and-a-half) and sacks (three-and-a-half).

Marist (1-2) will play its Pioneer Football League opener on Saturday, when the Red Foxes host Davidson at Tenney Stadium. The contest is part of Alumni Weekend, and kickoff is set for noon.
