Tom Githens enters his first year as the Multimedia Coordinator for the Marist Athletic Department in 2012.

A SUNY Geneseo graduate, Tom received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication in May 2012. Following his sophomore year at Geneseo, Tom began a year-long broadcast internship with the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League during the 2010-2011 season. From there he interned with the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A Affiliate of the New York Mets where he continued his specialization in video editing. Moving forward, Tom believes his youth and early experience can play a pivotal role in making the Red Fox Network the premier media source in the MAAC.

At Pittsford Sutherland High School, located in Rochester, N.Y., Tom was a two-time baseball sectional champion as well as a member of the 2008 Class A State Final Four.
