The Marist Athletic Department released the spring 2012 schedule for the Women's Tennis team on Monday. Coming off of a fall slate in which the team faced competition in four regional tournaments, the Red Foxes will compete in 15 matches in the spring in search of the program's fourth MAAC Championship. In addition to their seven MAAC contests, the team will face non-conference opposition from eight teams from six different leagues.

Marist's season kicks off in conference on Saturday, February 25 at Saint Peter's against the Peahens, the first of six away matches to start the season.  The following weekend, the Red Foxes will take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats from the NEC on Friday, March 2 and the Army Black Knights from the Patriot league on Saturday, March 3. Both matches will be hosted at Army's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

The Red Foxes will pick up their schedule eight days later when they begin a set of three neutral site games in Orlando, Fla. during Spring Break. Starting on Sunday, March 11 and going through the 14th, the Red Foxes play Bethune Cookman, North Dakota and Colgate.

The first home match of the season for Marist will be on Sunday, March 25 when they host Albany from the America East Conference. Three days later, the team will be back on the road when they meet another America East foe in the University of Hartford on Wednesday, March 28.

Beginning on Saturday, March 31, the Red Foxes will begin a stretch of three consecutive MAAC contests. A home match versus Niagara is first off on Saturday with another home tilt versus Fairfield on Wednesday, April 4. This stretch of MAAC games concludes with an away meeting at Siena on Tuesday, April 10.

The team's final home match of the season will be on Wednesday, April 11 versus Fordham.

Marist wraps up its season with three away conference matches over a five day span. Beginning on Sunday, April 15, the Red Foxes will play at Loyola, Manhattan (April 17) and Rider (April 20).
