Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Honor Roll

The Marist women's lacrosse team was honored for the third time in program history for academic success by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) after the 2010 season. To be eligible as a team the squad must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0, individuals must be at least a junior with a grade point average of 3.2.

In 2011, four Red Foxes were honored by IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. Seniors Erin Betsch (Port Washington, N.Y.) and Jessica Guarino (Wantagh, N.Y.), as well as juniors Shannon Haas (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and Jori Procaccini (Long Valley, N.J.) earned accolades. This was the second consecutive year in which Betsch and Guarino were named, the first time in history of the award that Marist has had an athlete honored twice by IWLCA.

Following the 2010 season, five Red Foxes earned recognition on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. Seniors Morgan Dillon (Freeport, N.Y.) and Lindsay Rinefierd (Smithtown, N.Y.) and juniors Erin Betsch (Port Washington, N.Y.), Jessica Guarino (Wantagh, N.Y.), and Caitlyn Hinchey (Glastonbury, Conn.) were named to the list. The individual accolades came six days after the Red Foxes was named an IWLCA Academic Squad.

In 2008, six Red Foxes were named to the IWLCA Honor Roll. Seniors Liz Burkhard (Wantagh, N.Y.) and Kelsey Haggett (Glastonbury, Conn.) and juniors Stephanie Garland (Long Valley, N.J.), Caitlin Schuh (Columbia, Md.), Carolyn Sumcizk (Syosset, N.Y.) and Megan White (Copaigue, N.Y.) were the individuals named to the team from Marist College. The Red Foxes' total of six student-athletes on the list was tied for second best in the nation. The 2008 season was one of the best in Marist history as the team crowned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) champions and totaled 10 wins for the second consecutive season.

The team was honored for the first time by the IWLCA after the 2005 season. Francesca DeLorenzo (Nyack, N.Y.) and Tara Mullins (Manalapan, N.J.) were named to the National Honor Roll for maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better and achieving junior status. Additionally, the team was recognized with a cumulative grade point average of 3.265. Marist was one of just 34 teams in Division I to be recognized in 2005.
