BRONX, N.Y. – The Marist women’s cross country team placed fourth at the ECAC Championships, University Division today at Van Cortlandt Park.
Marist had two runners finish with ECAC All-East honors. Sophomore Kristen Traub (Wayne, N.J.) finished in seventh place with a time of 18:34.4, while freshman Janelle Solviletti (Billerica, Mass.) placed 22nd with a time of 18:58.8.
The Red Foxes finished with a score of 149, nine points ahead of conference rival Monmouth. Marist also finished ahead of Fairfield, Siena and Manhattan at the competition. Pittsburgh won the event, posting a score of 83.
