Springfield, Mass. - The Marist women's basketball team will participate in the first annual Basketball Hall of Fame Challenge in the fall of 2013. The tournament is hosted by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), with the Red Foxes being the only team participating from the conference.
The Challenge will consist of eight teams, split into two pools of four, playing three games at two campus sites before finishing with a neutral game at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass., the current site of the MAAC Championships.
The Red Foxes will play three games on the campus of Ohio State between Nov. 22-27 against the host Buckeyes, Bowling Green and Monmouth. The exact dates and times of those games will be determined at a later date. Each team will then travel to Springfield on Dec. 1 and play a fourth game against a team from the other pool. The Red Foxes will take on Old Dominion.
