The Red Foxes got on the board in the first inning. After a lead-off single by Page, Korak pulled a home-run to left field, giving the Foxes a 2-0 lead.
In the top of the fourth, the Broncs took the lead with three runs on an RBI single by Gabby Bram, and a two-run homer by Amanda Jordan. The Red Foxes came back in the fifth, as after a couple of walks and a flyout to move the runners over, Coon singled to score Page and tie the game up at three.

Game Two - Marist 5, Rider 1
Marist again opened the scoring in the first on Freeman's RBI single, which brought home Page. The Red Foxes continued the scoring in the bottom of the second. After a lead-off single by junior Gabrielle Kelliher, Lee singled on a bunt. After the runners advanced on a passed ball, an infield single plus an error that came off the bat of junior Miranda Perez brought home both Kelliher and Lee.
In the bottom of the fourth, Lee launched a home run to right-center field – her third in the last three games – as Marist took a 4-0 lead. Marist added one more run in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by Kelliher.
The Broncs scored their lone run in the sixth, as a double by Jordan brought in Toni Nino from first base.
Van Alphen (11-3) pitched a complete game two-hitter with eight strikeouts and just one walk. She retired the first nine batters she faced, and had a no-hitter for the first 5.2 innings. Elyse Cuttic (2-15) pitched a complete game for Rider.
Coon finished 3-for-3. Freeman, Kelliher, and Lee all had two hits apiece as the Red Foxes totaled 11 as a team.
Marist is now 34-19 overall, and 12-6 in MAAC play. The Red Foxes have won eight straight overall, and seven consecutive MAAC games. The 34 wins marks the second-highest single-season total in program history, trailing only last year's 45-13 team. Rider is 6-42 overall, and 1-17 in the MAAC.
Marist closes out the regular season on Sunday, with a MAAC doubleheader at home against Monmouth. First pitch of game one is scheduled for noon. The MAAC Championships will begin on Wednesday, May 10. The Red Foxes will be seeded anywhere from second through sixth.
