EDISON, N.J. - The Marist men's and women's cross country teams each led the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in selections to the conference's All-Academic Team, which was released on Monday. A total of 20 men and 18 women were honored.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have been completed at least two semesters at his or her institution in addition to having a grade-point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.

The Marist men's and women's cross country teams each placed second at the MAAC Championships, which were held at Van Cortlandt Park on Oct. 28. The teams will return to action at the NCAA Regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Buffalo.
