2011-12: MAAC All-Rookie Team, CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Freshmen All-America Team, Hall of Fame Tip-Off All-Tournament Team, MAAC Rookie of the Week, Nov. 28, Feb. 6 and Feb. 20 ... Appeared in all 32 games and started the final 11 games of his freshman campaign ... Set the Marist All-Time Freshman Scoring record with 460 points ... Converted the fifth-most free throws all-time in a single season with 134 ... Finished freshman season with 14.4 points per game average, 10th best in the MAAC, third-best amongst rookies in the conference and tops on Marist  ... Scored in double figures in each of his final 20 games of the season, and in 27 total ... Led the Red Foxes in scoring on 16 occasions ... Joined the starting lineup on Feb. 2 at Manhattan and increased scoring ratio from 13.0 ppg to 17.1 ppg, rebound ratio from 4.1 to 5.7 and shooting percentage from 38.6 % to 49.6 % in the final 11 games ... Earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team: Springfield Bracket as he led the Red Foxes in scoring versus Vermont (15) and Radford (17) in just 50 minutes of action off of the bench ... Went 10-10 from the line for Marist at Niagara on Jan. 15 ... Had six or more rebounds on 12 occasions, including a career-high nine at Maine on Feb. 18. Also added 24 points versus Black Bears ... Finished with the second-highest rebounds per game average on team with 4.7 ... A strong defender, Lewis had a team-high five steals versus Colgate on Nov. 26 and a 1.7 steal per game average, the third-best in the MAAC ... Concluded season with a career-high 25 points versus Iona in the MAAC Quarterfinals on Mar. 3 ... Saw 20 or more minutes of action in all but one game.

Prior to Marist: An explosive scorer, he averaged 23.9 points per game as a senior for a St. Mary's Manhasset team which compiled a sterling record of 29-1 and reached the state federation final ... Tallied back-to-back 30-point games in the city championship and federation semifinals ... Earned a spot on the NYSSWA All-State First Team ... Considered one of the top rated players in New York State according to several scouting services, including a number six ranking from NYhoops.com.
