2012: MAAC All-Academic Team ... Appeared and started in 27 matched for the Red Foxes as a sophomore ... She finished first in the MAAC with 117 blocks and 1.13 blocks-per-set average, which was also good for 101st nationally. Sixth in the MAAC and 182nd in the country with a .303 hitting percentage ... She also led the Red Foxes in kills with 268 ... Recorded a career-high 20 kills in matches against Rider (Oct. 13) and at Canisius (Oct. 21) ... She hit double digits in kills on 13 different occasions, including the final seven matches and 12 of the last 14 matches ... Marist was 8-5 when she hit at least 10 kills ... She had a career-high 11 total blocks against Hartford on Sept. 1, the second most in a single match in Marist history ... Reach five blocks in a match nine different times, including six times with at least seven ... Totaled 25 digs on the season, including a career-high six in the season finale at Rider.
2011: MAAC Rookie of the Week 8/29, 9/12...Appeared in and started 11 games before season ended with right knee injury... Registered 36 total blocks... Recorded a season high of nine kills on Aug. 8 against Duquesne and Sept. 9 against NJIT... Season high of two digs against Saint Francis (Pa.) on Aug. 27, Sacramento State on Sept. 3 and Rider on Sept. 17.
Prior to Marist: Stephens was a third team All-State selection in 2009, and was a two-time All-Region and All-Conference player for West Ottawa High School. Following her senior season in 2010, she was named third team All-State. Stephens was a finalist for the 2010 Miss Volleyball in Michigan. She holds school records for career kills (1,659), kills in a season (622), kills in a match (35) and career blocks (403). Academically, Stephens was a member of the National Honor Society.
