PRINCETON, New Jersey -- The Marist College women's track team ended its 2017 season in record-setting fashion, with a fantastic finale at the 34th annual ECAC Championships, held on Friday and Sunday (Saturday's events were postponed due to heavy rain and wind) at William Weaver Track Stadium on the campus of Princeton University.

On Sunday, the 3,200-meter relay team of Shea Bohan, Emily Burns, Jenna Robinson and Denise Grohn placed seventh overall in 9:06.60, eclipsing the two-year-old school record in the event by 3.31 seconds. In the process, the relay squad placed seventh, earning ECAC All-East honors and two scoring points for the team. Bohan led off with a scintillating leg of 2:15.51. Burns followed with 2:17.46, Robinson at 2:15.57 and Grohn at 2:18.07.

On Friday night, fifth-year senior Nicki Nesi ended her remarkable career in red and white with a scoring place in the ECAC steeplechase. Nesi was seventh in 10:40.46, earning ECAC All-East honors with the two-point scoring placement. Last week at the MAAC Championships, Nesi was second overall and set the school record of 10:36.48. She graduates holding three of the four fastest steeplechase times in school history.

Also competing for the Red Foxes at the meet were senior Elizabeth Wasserman (20th in 10,000-meter run) and sophomore Debbie Boerke (35th in 400-meter hurdles).
