MAAC Championship Recap
The Marist College Women's Crew team won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rowing Championships for the second straight season. The team compiled 94 points as they finished just ahead of Fairfield and Loyola. The Red Foxes earned the win in the Novice Eight with a time of 7:26.8. The Junior Varsity Four finished first with a time of 8:02.5, as they beat Fairfield and Iona. In the Varsity Eight, the Red Foxes won comfortably with a time of 7:03.1, as they topped Fairfield and Loyola. Marist had a pair of third place showings in the Varsity Four and in the Novice Four.

Later at the New York State Collegiate Championships in Whitney Point, New York, the Novice Four boat ended up in third place with a time of 9:06.6, as they defeated Colgate and Cazenovia. The Varsity Eight placed second in the petite final with a time of 7:09.1 and beat St. Lawrence and Vassar. In the Novice Eight the Red Foxes ended up in third place, finishing ahead of Fordham and Army. After the NYS Championship, Marist had two boats qualify for the Avaya regatta. Both the Varsity Eight and Novice Eight rowed, and the Varsity Eight placed 12th overall in the regatta. The Novice Eight placed fifth in the Petite Final, good for 11th place overall in that division.
