MAAC Championship Recap
The Marist Red Foxes were able to overcome Rider and Loyola en route to a wire to wire win at the 2008 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championship. It was their fifth consecutive MAAC title. Marist 771 points, beat Rider by 56.5 points and Loyola by 61. The Red Foxes lost to Rider in the regular season, but they were able to prevail when it mattered most. Marist Associate Head Coach/Diving Coach Melanie Bolstad was named the MAAC Diving Coach of the Year.

The Marist women's swimming and diving team went on to finish in third place at the ECAC Championship Meet. The Red Foxes finished 46 points behind first place Central Connecticut and 21.5 points behind second place Rider. Marist finished with a total of 379 points.
