MAAC Championship Recap
The Red Foxes’ Women's Swimming and Diving team won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center. At the time this championship set the team atop the Marist Athletic Department with the most ever MAAC titles. Junior Kate Conard, freshmen Greta Leberfinger and the 400-yd. freestyle relay team all took victories for the Red Foxes on the final day of competition. Sophomore Maddie Arciello and the relay team also highlighted Marist's championship with school records.

When the events were complete the Marist women were on top for their 13th MAAC Championship.  They finished with 813.5 points, 156 points ahead of second place Rider, who finished with 657.5 points. At the conclusion of the meet during awards, Head Coach Larry VanWagner was named MAAC Women's Swimming Coach of the Meet. Later at the 2012 ECAC Championship, the Red Foxes finished in a tie for second with Harvard. The team accumulated 529 points just shy of Navy’s total of 583 points.
