MAAC Championship Recap
The Red Foxes crushed their opponents at the 1997 MAAC Rowing Championships to earn their first MAAC rowing title. Marist racked up 116 points which earned them a 71 point margin of victory over runner up Loyola. Loyola was followed closely by Manhattan, Iona, and Canisius. The win got Marist off to a great start in the MAAC conference by setting a winning precedent for its teams.
