The Marist men's crew team emerged victorious at the 2007 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rowing Championships. The Red Foxes won their seventh consecutive conference championship and 10th overall. The Red Foxes took first place with a team total of 187 points, 15 more than second-place Loyola. The Red Foxes won seven of the eight races, which included the Varsity Eight, Men's Pair, Varsity Lightweight Four, Novice Four, Junior Varsity Four, Second Novice Eight and Varsity Four.

Also in 2007 at the Williams Regatta, the Red Foxes earned victories in the Varsity Eight, the Second Varsity Eight, and the Varsity Four. In the Varsity Eight, Marist won with a time of 6:06.5, which was 8.2 seconds better than second-place Williams. At the New York State Rowing Championships, the Varsity Eight squad finished first to win the Scott Sanford Trophy. After the NYS Championships, the team competed at the ECAC Championship and looked poised for another victory before high winds cause the event to be cancelled. Finally, at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships the Varsity Eight squad finished with the 21st best time in the country.
