MAAC Championship Recap
At the 1997 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship, the Marist Red Foxes won by 101 points over runner up Rider. The team scored a total of 1018 points. Niagara finished in third place with 835 points followed by Loyola, Canisius, Fairfield, Iona, and St. Peter’s. The team won its second MAAC crown as Red Fox Brendan Leddy was named Most Outstanding Diver.
