Wilson joins the program after rowing for and coaching under three-time U.S. Olympic sculler Jim Dietz, who is currently at the helm of the University of Massachusetts women's rowing program.
While at UMass, Wilson served as a Professional Intern coach as well as an Interim Assistant Coach during the summer. Wilson worked closely with the full time coaching staff, training over 60 student-athletes while running sculling and small boat practices for varsity and novice rowers.
Wilson’s collegiate rowing career was a decorated one, as she captained the 2013-14 UMass team to the A-10 conference championship and a NCAA appearance. Wilson was also selected Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team in both 2013 and 2014 and had top finishes in the HOCR, Knecht Cup, and Dad Vail Regatta.
Prior to UMass, Wilson competed at the Division III level for Marietta College. While at Marietta, Wilson was a two-time NCAA Division III championship competitor, a Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Champion, and a Dad Vail gold medalist in the varsity eight for Division III.
