Scott Day is in his third season as Director of Men's Basketball Operations at Marist on Mike Maker's staff in the 2016-17 season. His duties include administrative responsibilities and summer camps as well as coordinating equipment and travel.
From 2012-14, Day served as an assistant coach on Maker’s staff at Williams College and was involved in all aspects of the program. In that time, the Ephs had a record of 54-10. They reached the Division III national championship game in 2014, and reached the Elite Eight in 2013.
Prior to his arrival at Williams, Day served as an assistant coach at Thunder Ridge High School, where he helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the 2012 5A Colorado State Tournament.
Day began his collegiate career at Lamar Community College, and started for a team that placed fifth at the NJCAA National Tournament. He earned Academic All-American honors at Lamar. Day then played his final two seasons as a point forward in a Princeton-style offense at Ouachita Baptist University, where he was a two-year captain and was named Academic All-Conference.
Day is a native of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
